Salesforce launched Koa, its first CRM-specific AI reasoning model, built by post-training Nvidia's open-weight Nemotron 3 Super on synthetic data. The move comes just three weeks after Salesforce struck its "Claudeforce" deal with Anthropic, showing the company is hedging on frontier AI labs even as it deepens its bet on Claude.
Salesforce and Nvidia presented Koa, an open weight reasoning model designed for business and post-training tasks without real customer data. The tool can be integrated into Agentforce as a more specialized and efficient alternative to border models such as Claude and ChatGPT.
