- Special Sessions Judge Chakor S Baviskar noted the gelatin sticks found in the SUV lacked detonators, failing to meet the "means" required for a "terrorist act," and found nothing on record to suggest the Ambani family was "terrorised" in any manner.
- The court authorized Waze's release on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh with surety, though he remains charged with murder under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code , an independent offense bypassing UAPA bail restrictions.
- Regarding businessman Mansukh Hiran's death, the court stated it was homicidal but not the direct outcome of a terrorist act, noting the Ambanis' day-to-day business appeared completely undisturbed from soon after the incident.
