The Orioles jumped to an early lead against Miami starter Sandy Alcantara, who gave up seven runs over 4 1/3 innings in his shortest outing of the season; Samuel Basallo drove in four runs to build the advantage.
Miami rallied to tie the game at 7 in the seventh inning when Liam Hicks and Otto Lopez hit consecutive 431- and 414-foot solo homers, followed by a run scored on a throwing error by catcher Basallo in the eighth.
