Ruston's Ahmad Hudson commits to LSU
Hudson, the nation’s top-rated tight end, chose LSU over Nebraska and more than 30 power-conference offers.
On Sunday, five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson announced his commitment to play football for the LSU Tigers, choosing the program over Nebraska and other power conference schools.
LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff secured the commitment after Hudson made multiple visits to Baton Rouge this year to evaluate their offensive vision.
Standing 6'6.5 and weighing 239 lbs, Hudson mirrors the build of current tight end Trey'Dez Green and plans to play basketball for coach Will Wade as well.
Hudson serves as the crown jewel of the 2027 class, joining quarterback Peyton Houston and edge rusher Jaiden Bryant, strengthening LSU's recruiting standing.
With Hudson secured, the coaching staff will host prospects like Abraham Sesay on May 29 and Ismael Camara on June 5, as Kiffin aims to maintain national championship momentum.
