Russia using Belarusian LTE networks, relay stations for mass drone attacks on Ukraine, Kyiv says

Belarus appears to be once again providing its infrastructure to support Russian drone attacks against Ukraine and NATO countries.

The drone shot down by NATO fighters over Lithuania entered the country from Belarus, Vilnius authorities said. The incident highlights Minsk's role not only in Russia's attacks on Ukraine but also the risks to the alliance's eastern flank. Just a day earlier, Ukrainian authorities said Russia was once again using communications infrastructure on Belarusian territory to support Shahed drone flights in strikes on western Ukraine.

Russia uses the LTE mobile telephone networks in Belarus, but also a network of relay stations located on Belarusian territory, to ensure a stable signal to the Russian Shahed-type drones used in massive attacks against Ukraine, support two Ukrainian officials.
