Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov, confirming the trip to the Russian capital of the director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), John Radcliffe, made a brief comment: “I can only tell the reporters that there were contacts between secret services. There was no encounter with President Vladimir Putin,” he insisted, “that’s all I can tell them.”
The visit of CIA chief John Ratcliffe to Moscow provides for speculation. Now the Kremlin expresses itself. In Lithuania more information is expected promptly.
