Springboks Bring Back Scrumhalves Jantjies and Papier for Nations Championship

On Saturday, Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus announced a 46-man squad for the Nations Championship, featuring the recalls of scrumhalves Herschel Jantjies and Embrose Papier.
Six uncapped players were called up, including forwards Paul de Villiers , Riley Norton , Carlu Sadie , and Ruben van Heerden , plus backline additions Vusi Moyo and Jaco Williams .
Jantjies, a 2019 World Cup winner, returns after nearly three years away, while Papier, who played his last Test in 2018, joins to compete with regular Springboks scrumhalves Cobus Reinach and Grant Williams.
South Africa regathers in Johannesburg on Sunday to prepare for the Nations Championship, beginning with a July 4 match against England at Ellis Park before facing Scotland and Wales.
The 46-man roster will also contest a one-off Test against Argentina in Buenos Aires on August 8, building on the team's successful season-opener victory against the Barbarians 80-31.
