Rescue Union Medic Saved Life of Two-Year-Old Who Developed Dangerous Allergy

The medical teams of Union Rescue provided initial medical assistance this morning (Wednesday) and saved the life of a 2-year-old girl who developed an allergic reaction that endangered her life while staying in a daycare (nursery) in the neighborhood of Shishon H. in Bnei Brak. The girl, who was sensitive to sesame developed an acute allergic reaction, the medics injected her with Epifen, and after managing to stabilize her condition, she was evacuated to the hospital. Avraham Leib Bernstein, a medic from the Rescue Union motorcycle unit who injected her with EpiPen, said: “We were informed that she was sensitive to sesame and developed an acute and severe allergic reaction that endangered her life. I injected her with EpiPen (an automatic syringe used to inject a measured amount of adrenaline) and after her condition stabilized she was evacuated for further hospital treatment.”
