Roughriders storm back to beat Argos 28-24, snap losing streak
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Saskatchewan Roughriders defeated the Toronto Argonauts 28-24 at Mosaic Stadium in Regina before a sellout crowd of 33,350.
Saskatchewan's special teams sparked the comeback when Mike Rose blocked a kick, allowing Marcus Sayles to return it for a two-point convert. The Riders outscored Toronto 16-2 over the final 30 minutes.
Quarterback Trevor Harris threw for 313 yards and two majors, while receiver KeeSean Johnson recorded 10 catches for 146 yards. Johnson played a pivotal role in the game-winning drive.
