Rome Man Jailed for Selling Lost iPhone

David Wayne Edwards, 58 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a misplaced iPhone at the Waffle House on Shorter Avenue. Police said that Edwards found the misplaced cellphone, which was valued at $900, and placed it in his pocket and left the restaurant. Reports added that Edwards was later found and recorded selling the iPhone at the West Rome Walmart. Source
