- Since 2000, the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts at Royal Albert Hall, London, have raised 34 million and established 28 specialised NHS units.
- While on tour, Sir Roger Daltrey received the knighthood letter and his wife Heather `broke the news`; he accepted the honour on behalf of Teenage Cancer Trust supporters and staff.
- Last year Sir Roger Daltrey stepped down after more than 20 years, and Robert Smith is doing it next year with a line-up for next March including Manic Street Preachers, Elbow and Wolf Alice.
- Since 2000 the concerts have featured major performers such as Sir Paul McCartney, Oasis, Muse and Ed Sheeran, typically running six nights of music and one night of comedy at Royal Albert Hall.
