Roberto Soldic Survives Early Knockdowns to Win His Highly Anticipated Debut at UFC 332
Roberto Soldic recovered from two knockdowns and outlanded Khaos Williams in the final two rounds to win a unanimous decision, judges said.
On Saturday, former KSW champion Roberto Soldic made his highly anticipated UFC debut in Salt Lake City, Utah, facing Khaos Williams at UFC 332.
Known as Robocop, Soldic entered the UFC as the only fighter with a knockout win over Dricus Plessis, establishing his pedigree outside the promotion.
Despite two early knockdowns by Williams, Soldic recovered to dominate rounds two and three, securing a unanimous decision victory with judges' scorecards of 29-28, 29-27, and 29-27.
During his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Soldic praised Williams' toughness, saying, "He hits hard and is a really good opponent."
Soldic expressed willingness to fight whomever the UFC matchmakers select, telling Rogan, "I accept everybody," while awaiting assignments from Dana White and Sean Shelby.
After a long break in his professional career, Roberto Soldić made a brilliant start to his UFC career with a unanimous decision victory over American Khaos Williams.
It happened in Salt Lake City, in the hall where Croatian basketball players Gordan Giriček and Bojan "Babo" Bogdanović played some of their best career performances while playing for the Utah Jazz.
