General Hospital, Days of Our Lives Alum Robert Kelker-Kelly Dead at 62
The veteran soap actor won a Soap Opera Digest Award for outstanding lead actor and later retired from acting to become a professional pilot.
Actor Robert Kelker-Kelly died on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Missouri at age 62, best known for playing Bo Brady on 'Days of Our Lives' and Stavros Cassadine on 'General Hospital'.
Kelker-Kelly launched his career originating Sam Fowler on 'Another World' before joining 'Days' in 1992, where he played Bo Brady for nearly 600 episodes and won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in 1994.
Following his soap tenure, Kelker-Kelly married 'Days' co-star Miriam Parrish in 1997 and later retired from acting to become a professional pilot after their 2011 divorce.
Earlier this year, former 'Days' co-star Lisa Rinna alleged in her memoir that Kelker-Kelly 'made my life a living hell on the set of DAYS,' claiming he was 'verbally abusive' and unpredictable.
Kelker-Kelly made brief returns to 'General Hospital' as Stavros Cassadine in 2002, 2003, and 2013 to haunt Luke Spencer, though the cause of his death remains unknown.
