A traffic accident between a rescue car and a car caused five injuries on Wednesday at the B50 near Mattersburg. A 47-year-old driver wanted to let the emergency vehicle, which was travelling with blue light, pass and brake. However, the 20-year-old driver of the rescue car could not evade in time due to the incoming traffic and drove up on the car, the police reported on Thursday. All five passenger car occupants were injured.

A traffic accident involving an emergency vehicle occurred on Wednesday morning on the B50 in Burgenland. Five occupants of a car suffered unspecified injuries.
