Latvia and the rest of Europe face a difficult autumn and winter, but further escalation in Russia's aggression is possible, warns President Edgars Rinkēvičs. He points out that the security situation in Europe and the Baltic region remains tense, but various incidents caused by Russia have already become more frequent.
"What each of us can do right now: participate in the elections, support the National Armed Forces and the National Guard, and report suspicious activities to law enforcement," the president writes.
