RFA's Jacob Ciccone sets school record in 25-pound weight throw

Rome Free Academy junior Jacob Ciccone broke the school record in the 25-pound weight throw on Saturday at the New Balance Nationals Indoor at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston. Ciccone had a heave of 63 feet, 4 inches to break the school record of 62-11 3/4 set by 2018 graduate Ryan Swavely, son of RFA throwing coach Ted Swavely. Ciccone placed 39th overall. He threw the shot put on Friday with a top throw of 56-1 to finish 30th.
