The sales revenue of retail companies in August this year was 906 million euros, with sales volume decreasing by two percent compared to a year earlier, Statistics Estonia announced.

"The decrease in sales volume was affected by both industrial goods and grocery stores. Grocery stores were the most affected, where sales volume decreased by 5% compared to August last year," Pihlak added.
