Retail sales increased significantly in March. While the previous month's increase was 3.8 percent on an annual basis and 0.4 percent on a monthly basis, in March Hungarians bought 8.2 percent more than in the same period last year and 1.9 percent more than in the previous month. The increase was mainly in gas station sales.
