In the face of the floods following Hurricane Melissa, the bridge over the El Salado River suffered severe damage. On May 2, the Provincial Road Safety Commission in Granma banned the passage through civil construction. After almost 48 hours of work the Braulio Coroneaux Brigade of COINGEX returned access to the transit, while the work is expected to be completed next week.
