Resideo Announces Sale of Grid Services Demand Response Business to EnergyHub

Resideo announced it sold its Grid Services demand response business to EnergyHub in Scottsdale, Ariz., with terms undisclosed.
Citing its capital priorities, Resideo said proceeds will fund general corporate purposes and the sale has no material impact on its 2025 financial outlook while sharpening its residential controls strategy.
Resideo's Grid Services currently supports nearly 300 U.S. utility programs and engages in six wholesale energy markets, while EnergyHub serves more than 120 utilities with over 2.5 GW of dispatchable flexible capacity.
EnergyHub will expand its DERMS to manage thermostats, EVs and batteries, gaining scale to support utilities and utility customers, while Resideo retains home energy control via integrations with thermostats and third‑party demand response platforms.
By joining EnergyHub, Resideo said the deal advances a carbon‑free grid and accelerates the clean distributed energy future, highlighting its solutions in over 150 million residential and commercial spaces.
