Rescuers were busy at the grape harvests in Znojmo and Mikulov on Friday and Saturday. Around fifty people ended up in their care in Znojmo, over 80 in Mikulov. Among the injured were a stallholder burned by oil and a child who was pushed into the barriers by the crowd during an autograph session.
South Moravia was marked by wine, burčák, music and history last weekend. Paramedics treated almost 50 people at the Znojmo Historical Wine Harvest on Friday and Saturday. Usually it was abdominal pain, collapses and nausea. In one case, they suspected a stroke, wrote in a press release the spokesperson for the South Moravian paramedics Michaela Bothová. In Znojmo, they acted as medical assistants.
