Emergency declaration lifted after police fail to find reportedly armed man

Queensland Police said they gained access to a home where they believed an armed man to be, but found no-one inside.

UPDATE: Police have revoked an earlier emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) at Marsden. Initial information indicates that around 8:30am, officers were called to a Maple Street address in regard to an unrelated matter before an armed person was spotted by officers inside the residence.
