Las Vegas Stadium Authority Releases Final Attendance Count For WWE WrestleMania 42 - Wrestling Inc.
Official figures show the two-night event drew 97,126 fans, down about 18% from last year, even as WWE called it one of its highest-grossing shows.
On Wednesday, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority announced WrestleMania 42 drew 97,126 fans to Allegiant Stadium, with 47,093 attending Saturday and 50,033 attending Sunday.
Attendance figures represent a decline of roughly 18% from the 118,641 fans reported for WrestleMania 41, which was also held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas last year.
Despite lower attendance, WWE and TKO touted WrestleMania 42 as "one of the highest-grossing events in company history," citing record figures across gate, sponsorship, and digital experiences.
WWE President Nick Khan suggested the company may avoid holding consecutive events in the same city, citing back-to-back Las Vegas scheduling as a factor in the attendance drop.
Next year, WWE will hold WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the first time the event will take place outside of North America.
