Renault mulls Clio reinvention, next-gen 5 alongside new models

While the current Clio is still quite new, Renault is already anticipating its successor with a sixth generation that will be surprising in more ways than one. Its format will be entirely new, and internal combustion engines could disappear for the first time.
It is not yet clear what the compact car segment will look like for Renault beyond 2030. The automaker refuses to bet everything on retro design and is looking for the right formula for the next generation of the Clio. The electric model R5 E-Tech is set to undergo changes and a second generation has also been confirmed.

Renault looks beyond retro as it starts reinventing its success models
