Red Dress Day marked in Quesnel

Residents in Quesnel gathered this week to mark Red Dress Day, honouring the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people. Community members took part in commemorative activities, including a symbolic act along the Fraser River where red flowers were cast into the water. Dozens of red dresses hung on trees alongside the Fraser River for Red Dress Day.
