The Red Dress represents the voices of First Nations women, girls and Two-Spirit people who have been lost to violence, and whose spirits call out for remembrance and justice. May 5 is National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQ+ People (MMIWG2S) also called Red Dress Day.
