Germany was hit by severe thunderstorms on Wednesday, with tornadoes in several places. The best-documented tornado was in Fürstenwalde/Spree, Brandenburg, southeast of Berlin, where a tornado damaged houses and cars and uprooted trees. The storms also claimed one life.
