Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating after a 59-year-old man from Saulteaux First Nation was found dead on Moosomin First Nation.

Suspicious Death Under Investigation on Moosomin First Nation

Battlefords RCMP were called to Moosomin First Nation after receiving a report that a man was in need of urgent medical help at around noon on December 8, 2025. RCMP investigating fatality in Moosomin First Nation

Battlefords RCMP received a report of a male requiring medical attention on Moosomin First Nation, on December 8, 2025 at approximately 12:00 p.m.. Officers immediately responded and provided medical aid. The victim was later pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as 59-year-old Arnold Thomas from Saulteaux First Nation.
