Rare astronomical spectacle: Partial solar eclipse to darken much of Lithuania’s sun

A partial solar eclipse will offer Lithuanians a rare astronomical spectacle on August 12, with the moon expected to cover about 75% to 81% of the sun’s disk, according to astronomers at Vilnius University.
