- Evidence in the investigation includes around 54 seconds of CCTV footage from the examination hall, which The Mumbai Police Crime Branch is examining to reconstruct events leading to Sahil's death.
- IIT Bombay constituted a 10-member committee on Wednesday to probe the death, with Doolla placed on leave to facilitate an impartial investigation. The committee must submit its report within one week.
- Demanding justice for their son, Ravindra and Sonali Wakode announced an indefinite hunger strike outside the IIT Bombay gate beginning Thursday at 11 a.m. The parents remain committed to accountability.
