Python found slithering through In-N-Out drive-through in California

Henny, a 3.6-pound ball python missing since August 11, was found at an In-N-Out and safely returned to her San Bernardino family two days after discovery.

  • On Monday, a Monrovia In-N-Out worker found Henny, an escaped San Bernardino python, at the drive-thru and Monrovia restaurant employees removed the reptile for rescue care.
  • The family said Henny escaped on Aug. 11 from their San Bernardino, California home and they had no clue how she traveled more than 40 miles to Monrovia.
  • Measured at 3 to 4 feet long and 3.6 pounds, Henny was taken in by Pasadena Humane Society, which posted images of her distinctive markings to identify the owner.
  • After the broadcast, Henny's owners stepped forward to claim the snake on Oct. 1, and Pasadena Humane said `And Henny's family couldn't have been happier to have her back`.
  • Pasadena Humane Society placed the ball python on a 'stray hold' until an owner claims it, noting it requires escape-proof housing in a minimum 75-125 gallon equivalent enclosure.
