PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's soccer team was defeated by the University of Connecticut Huskies (6-3-1, 2-1-1 BIG EAST), 1-0, on Oct. 1 in Providence, R.I. The Friars fell to 3-4-2 overall (0-2-1 BIG EAST). The Friars will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 12:00 p.m. for Alumni Weekend.
