PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Senior citizens are being hit with property taxes they can't afford, forcing them away from their forever homes and into assisted living facilities. Gary Millen is a Peoria resident who's retired. He said he's one of the lucky ones, who can still support himself through his retirement fund.
