It is planned that the tax assessments of properties will double in three years, announced Deputy Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova, quoted by the Bulgarian National Radio. They will not be used to determine the "household waste" fee: "A gradual increase is planned - for 2027 30%, for 2028 - 35% and for 2029 -–35%. The idea is to achieve a 100% increase in the tax assessment in 3 years."
