Profeco Sues Whirlpool in Mexico for Failing to Shop Online

Mexico City, Mexico.- A federal judge in Monterrey, Nuevo León, initiated the collective action promoted by the Federal Consumer Prosecutor's Office against Whirlpool Mexico, after detecting alleged breaches that would have affected at least 112 consumers between 2022 and 2024. The lawsuit, filed in August 2024, also includes the KitchenAid brand, and originated from various irregularities in purchases made through digital platforms.
