Hyundai Translead, a leading manufacturer of truck trailers and flatbeds, is firing up two shuttered industrial plants along the Des Plaines River in Will County, with a commitment to bring thousands of jobs to the region.

As part of a comprehensive incentive package, which includes an EDGE agreement with the State, Hyundai Translead has committed to investing $452.5 million and creating at least 2,475 new full-time jobs. In addition to state incentives, the company is also working with Will County taxing bodies to secure local incentives.

Hyundai Translead CEO Sean Kenney noted that more than 500 customer locations are located within a 100‑mile radius of the planned facilities in Will County.
