Meghan shares photos of Archie to mark seventh birthday
Meghan Markle shared a rare Instagram tribute with private family photos as Archie turned 7, while the couple said they plan a quiet celebration.
On Wednesday, Meghan Markle celebrated Prince Archie's seventh birthday with an Instagram tribute, sharing rare family photos including a picture of Prince Harry cradling their "sweet boy" as a newborn.
Born in London in May 2019, Prince Archie is the couple's first child; the Duke and Duchess of Sussex later relocated to Montecito, California, where they now live with younger sister Princess Lilibet.
Since re-joining Instagram in January 2025, Markle, 44, has provided frequent glimpses of her children, noting she remains intentional about "building confidence and their self-esteem."
The family of four is expected to celebrate the birthday privately, with the couple teaching Archie and Lilibet about "manners and taking care of the things around you," emphasizing that "there is a cost and a price" to everything.
Archie's seventh birthday falls less than one week after King Charles III visited the United States with Queen Camilla; Charles is not believed to have seen his grandchildren in person since the 2022 Platinum Jubilee.
Meghan Markle has shared new photos of her son Archie on Instagram. There are two photos: one with Prince Harry holding a newborn Archie on his chest, and a more recent photo of Archie and his sister Lilibet on the beach.
