Price of fuel surges close to €2.30 a litre – with further pain predicted at the pumps

Fuel retailers warn prices may exceed €2.30 per litre as government excise cuts take time to affect pump costs, impacting over 300 stations nationwide, CSNA said.

The price of fuel has risen again as the war on Iran continues, with it now costing about €100 to fill a modest car.
