The first secretary of the PS rejected this Monday evening François Bayrou's proposal for a great primary from socialists to the Gaullist right.
In an interview with the "Figaro" the former Prime Minister proposes a vote before the election between the potential candidates of the "social democratic" branch of the Socialist Party, "up to the Gaullists", to avoid his "disastrophe" scenario of a second round Mélenchon-Le Pen in 2027.
