President Karol Nawrocki is hoping to finalize plans to establish a permanent U.S. military base in Poland. In an interview with Bloomberg Television, he assessed that the project's implementation is "only a matter of time," and, he added, infrastructure preparations are already underway. The president would like the base to be established before the end of Donald Trump's term, i.e., by 2029.
"Let's build a regional gas hub based on supplies from the US" is one of the president's three main ideas for strengthening cooperation between Poland and the United States. He also mentioned the issue of medicines, among other things.
