On Wednesday, 12 August, the São Toméan President exonerated the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, following a proposal from the Prime Minister, who took over the duties of Jourceli Tiny dos Ramos. The exoneration takes place after the Attorney General's Office (PGR) of São Tomé and Príncipe had opened a criminal case on the alleged attempt to pressure judges on the part of the Minister, but also the President of Parliament.
