The president of Colombia posts in his networks that a sniper of the National Liberation Army (ELN), now arrested, had planned to kill him
This organization would also be behind the drone attack that took place this Friday with two soldiers killed.
"Captured the ELN sniper who participated in the planning of an attempt on my life!" the president said.The suspect was arrested on Thursday and is known with the alias of Firulais.
The Colombian police reported the capture, carried out, of alias Firu or Firulais, a sniper from the ELN guerrilla who is accused of planning an attack against De la Espriella.
The detainee had an arrest warrant for the crimes of aggravated homicide in a protected person and the manufacture, trafficking or carrying of firearms.
The Ministry of Defence reported that the captured person would be the material perpetrator of the murder of three police officers of the Camilo Torres Front.
