More than 65,000 business leaders responded to a consultation of OpinionWay, which will be discussed on Thursday at the Summer University of Medef, by the seven main presidential candidates.
According to a consultation conducted by the Medef, 82 per cent of the leaders declare themselves pessimistic about the effects of the economic policy of the next President of the Republic on their business.
Taxation, bureaucracy and instability of rules are the three most cited barriers by the 65,872 business leaders interviewed by OpinionWay for the Medef. By the beginning of 2027, 83% place the fall in taxes and charges among the priorities of the next quinquennium.
Less than a year before the presidential elections, 66,000 entrepreneurs expressed their economic priorities in a large survey initiated by the MEDEF. The result is clear: 82% of them say they are pessimistic about the economic policy of the future president of the Republic.
