To help reduce the risk of wildfires, BC Wildfire Service is supporting yaqan nuʔkiy (Lower Kootenay Band) in conducting two prescribed burns in the Creston area. The Highway 21 prescribed burn is located on Creston IR1 along Highway 21 and will cover up to nine hectares.
