On Tuesday, Prague residents and visitors to the capital will once again be able to take the cable car to Petřín. After a two-year shutdown, it will be operated by new cars designed by designer Anna Marešová. They will offer panoramic views and even the interior has been thoughtfully designed. Single fares have increased by up to 100 crowns, but holders of coupons and long-term tickets pay nothing.
The Petřín funicular was on course right on the first day after recommissioning. It is estimated that ten thousand people rode it, and on the long weekend the interest can be expected even higher. Thus, the transport company will deliver the kits even outside the timetable.

New cable cars have just entered operation on Prague’s Petřín Hill. The glass-heavy cars afford spectacular views of the city and boast cool details; for instance when they pass, those going up “wink” (flash their lights), while those going down “blush” (light up red inside).
