Prada's Skirts Take Centre Stage as Milan Fashion Week Begins

- This show followed the inauguration of Prada's new flagship store within the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The expansion adds an underground gallery, museum, and private salons designed to host events and pamper the brand's wealthiest clients in Milan.
- Despite macroeconomic tensions and a slowdown in the Chinese market, Prada posted better-than-expected results for the first half of 2026. Carlo Capasa, head of the Italian fashion chamber, said the sector held up in the second quarter, calling it a "miracle" that the industry stayed afloat.
