An explosion followed by a fire occurred overnight at an ammunition depot near the village of Nizami in Azerbaijan’s Goranboy district, according to Report on September 2, citing a joint statement by the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Defense, and Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Azerbaijani officials evacuated 5,000 people after a fire broke out at a weapons depot on Wednesday night, officials said.
