Police Confirm Death Of Kano Influencer Danshagamu, Arrest Two Suspects
Police say two suspects are in custody as investigators work to determine the motive behind the killing of a prominent government critic.

- Acting on the directive of Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, the Kumbotso Police Division conducted an intelligence-driven operation resulting in the arrests. Investigators are obtaining statements and conducting forensic procedures to establish the motive, spokesman CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said.
- Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf urged residents to remain calm while directing security agencies to prosecute those responsible. Former Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso condemned the killing and called for government protection of opposition voices.
- The Command deployed additional patrols in Gaida to maintain law and order while the investigation continues. The two suspects are in custody undergoing interrogation and will be prosecuted upon conclusion of the inquiry.
