The President of the Île-de-France region Valérie Pécresse promised on Tuesday 22 September similar transport arrangements to those of the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
The Ile-de-France Mobility app will be adapted to the different station closures on the route of the papal visit. A dozen stations should be closed.
On the occasion of Leon XIV's trip to Paris, Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, the transport offer in Île-de-France will be increased by 10%, said Valérie Pécresse, the president of the region.
On the occasion of the Pope's visit to Paris on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September, the transport offer will be increased by 10% to absorb the influx of visitors. Several metro stations will be closed during these two days.
