The Alternative for Germany (AfD) is at a historic high in the German state of Thuringia. According to a new poll by the research firm Insa, the party can expect 39 percent of the vote. This is the highest percentage the AfD has ever achieved in Thuringia. The party thus surpasses the current governing parties combined.
